Default I have a problem with Windows Fonts

Well I don't know how this happened but for some reason my font is all messed up. By that I mean that the font isn't the original Windows (probably verdana). Anyway I looked as much as I could through Windows itself trying to fix it but I can't find anything. I tried Restore but that didn't work. I looked in the place were the Windows fonts are but I don't see anything that could help:

What pisses me off the most is this

If your wondering what the difference is, when i type my font shows up while im typing, but when i message it goes to default msn 10 times new roman. NOW the problem is when my friends message me its the same thing happening, their font is also 10 times new roman (which i hate because i get confused).

Gah! Somebody please tell me how to fix this!

I was thinking you want to keep your windowblinds, so didn't suggest that.
