Reputation: 0 ![]() Rep Power: 0 | Apart from the memory hogging issue, Firefox 2.0.0.1 does a weird split second disappearing act when opening a new tab. It also does some strange "drawing outlines" for a new window before actually opening the window. Anybody else experiencing this ? Now, you can fix the memory hogging issue by doing the following: In a new tab address line type about:config Now in the "Filter" line type config IF you have a preference name boolean type entry called config.trim_on_minimize make sure it is set to true If not, right click in the list area and select "new" --> "boolean" and add config.trim_on_minimize and set to true |
