Default taskkill.bat file

I have followed the instructions to create a batch file to kill off unwanted processess but when I try to run the batch file the process does,nt get killed off. I have the correct and full task name on the file and have it saved as it should be, I can stop the task via the task manager and manually ending it but this is time consuming and labourious. Any help as to why it is not killing these tasks off would be appreciated, thanks

There are some processes tat can't be killed by taskkill.exe. Perhaps you can list them down here what they are? You might also want to try checking out PSKill.exe (a free tool similar to window's taskkill.exe) but more comprehensive. Google and you should be able to find it easily.

Thanks for the reply peaz the processess i am trying to kill are non system stuff like msn some anti virus etc which i can stop manually by selecting them and ending the process. I looked at pskill but wasn,t sure where i was supposed to install it to to get it to work, mind it was late when I looked. The batch file when started seems to run as the command prompt shows it running but the processess remain. Thanks

Would be helpful (I think) if you can paste the contents of your bat file here.
