DeskTop Heap Monitor for NT

Hi all,

I have a Win NT4 SP6 system that is kicking out User32.dll initialization error messages from time to time. After a bit of research I have concluded that this is probbaly down to my system trying to generate too many non-interactive desktops out of a system wide fixed 48MB buffer. To remedy the situation I have followed Microsofts recomendation and set a registry setting to limit the size of non-interactive desktops to 512KB, however the problem still occurs.

I was just woindering if any1 knows how I can view the non-interactive desktop configuration under Windows NT. Microsoft provide a desktop heap monitor (v8.1) that works a treat under XP and provides just the information I need, but this version will not install under NT4. Can it be manipulated to work under NT or is there version that works under NT4 and if so where I can get it?

Any any ideas would be much appreciated? Thanks in advance.
