Attacked by Trojan.Frogexer!gen virus! (URGENT)

Last night, while I was look for some lyrics, I ended up at a fake site & got this virus.

I tried following the instructions given to me from this link, but it kept on coming back!

Bringing up the task manager through Ctrl + Alt + Del or through the Run menu also didn't work at all.

Is your definitions up to date?

I disabled it already, as mentioned by the guide.

Norton didn't detect any traces of Trojan.Galapoper.A.

Looks like my only hope is to reformat my laptop & then install AVG instead of Norton. But I'll have to get an external hard disk to back up my work first.

Did you try removing it by booting into safe mode?

Also disable its start up.

Go to Start --> Run --> type in 'MSCONFIG' hit enter.

Check the startup tab and uncheck the virus file name (it will also tell you its physical location).

Restart then you should be able to remove it manually (a quick search should yield where its at.) Or you could try scanning first, and check if its still there.

Yup, It did it in safemode previously

Tried it agin, but I followed a guide this time.

And my task manager now works! And hopefully, that culprit is removed!
