Default Isolating File Sharing between drives on the same computer?

My computer currently has two drives (80 gig sata & an ata 40 gig),both have a seperate XP operating system on them but I can access both thru explorer.By using the bios boot priority I can decide which drive is active.
The question is "How do I isolate them if I wish to,so they cannot see each other, without disconnecting cables"?

Just use MS Powertoys/TweakUI and select the drives
you want to be hidden/not to be shown in Explorer.

Is it a user setting ,or does it make the registries invisible to each other as well?
I'll simplify the question by explaining that I have an old game called "outcast"(not Jedi).Any updates to XP stops you from being able to gallop around the different worlds on the chicken-horse thingy called a Twon-Ha.Found an old 3 gig drive I figured might just fit the op syst & game alone. But am uncertain if being linked to other drives may waste my time!

Login as admin, uncheck the drive you want to and it
is hidden to every user may log on and the whole active
system as well.
No registry, no files, nothing ...

Btw. on dualboot ... the primary/active OS is never (!)
scanning the registry and/or modifying the files of a
secondary/inactive OS, no matter what.
For that you wouldn't need to hide it.

Thanks for quick reply. It's off topic, but is there any advantage sticking with WMedia player nine as far as wdrm rights & privacy is concerned?
Too busy to go thru the fine print but noticed after WMP9 ,
wdrm started coming to the the fore more often.Nothing to hide, but i just get the feeling that my privacy decreases with every update.

Personally I don't care.
Some saying M$ is spying on you, some did proof they do not.
Set up WMP11 if you like it, switch to WMP10 or stay with WMP9, imo it really doesn't matter.

I asked because every man & his dog seems to own an MP3 player or similar, yet the rules are so vague. If it does'nt interfere with my player, or tell me which programs I can use.
"Great". Otherwise it's less effort & Mb downloads to leave it.
