Reputation: 285 ![]() ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 9 | Oh ya, everything is fine. I have Diskeeper 10, set for auto on my main. Main being the Raptor from my signature. The system acts like the CPU use spikes to 100% used. Even the mouse lags around. This has been happening for some time now, even before I started using the SATA drive. All known working drivers for everything. No disk errors. When I ask about it, I say it's the phantom problem. It happens any time it pleases. Fresh boot, a week of being on, and annoyware in-between and later. Good RAM. Ram being the first thing I checked for errors out of impulse. Fresh install of XP as well with the same problem. I tried using different video card drivers with no luck. I wonder if my CPU is spiking, but it's called so much that it can't display in the performance monitor in XP. Note : There are 2 reasons for this thread. 1. I would like to know what's going on. 2. Here is a problem for people to really think about! Something fresh, and keeps people on there toes. lol

Reputation: 285 ![]() ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 9 | Well, when I re-loaded XP, it was JUST XP and it did it. So, XP was conflicting with itself? LOL! As I said, it's a weird problem. Nothing seems to add up no matter how I have looked at it. And I don't mean to aggravate people, but I don't want people thinking of things I verified already.

Reputation: 285 ![]() ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 9 | yep. But, now that I think of it, I never had this with the ATI a while ago... Anyway, If I update the driver performance goes down. Rotten AGP. Rotten money situation not allowing me to replace my board, CPU, RAM, and graphics card. Oh well.
