Default Error with Firefox, and using Run command

Ok, I get an error when using either the Run command, or opening an external shortcut to a web site when Firefox is default. Screenshot is what I get every time, except that if I enter something like www.microsoft.com, the address changes.
It still opens it, but I have to click OK, and then close the Run box is used. Anyone know what I can do here? I am working on a fresh install currently of EVERYTHING.

Looks like some spyware got removed and left that error message.

I would have taught the same thing, but this is a fresh install, of XP, Firefox, everything that I use on my PC is newly installed.
If I tell IE to be the default browser, it's fine. But Firefox gives that message.
