 Now, I have a bigger problem. My DVD-Rom drive is totally useless now. Apparently, the driver's corrupted and I can't find it on the Vaio Recovery utility.   Uninstalled the device & it's now gone!!! btw, here's the make & model of the drive: Matsuhita UJ-841D. Laptop: Sony Vaio VGN-FE15GP Searched on Google & I got a useless french site. Know any other way to get the driver? Thanks, TF

Damn *cough* *cough* sites!  Suspecting that the virus is not removed (Or not completely removed.), as the Vaio Control Center thing could not load up (Losing the volume indicator & the function keys!) Looks like my only hope now is to use the Vaio Recovery Tool.

Reputation: 2162 Rep Power: 56 | You have broadband right? Do you know using broadband can lessen virus infection? Just go bt for the videos, safer that way.  I don't do that anymore though, running out of hdd space. Now I just visit forums.
