Default Internet Explorer cant be opened

I am currently encountering some problems with my Internet explorer. I cant open any web page using it. But if i use mozilla, it works. I m using lan connection here and other user here dun have this problem. I got no idea what is happening there. Anyone know wat is the problem ??

Are you using IE6 or IE7?

There's an option in IE7 reset everything to default.

Try checking the Connections and LAN Settings. I think the problem is over there.

Yeah, you may have set it to use a proxy server that is no longer working, for example.

I check alr..my proxy setting for mozilla and IE are exactly the same...i even reinstall the IE but nothing changed
....currently i m using IE 7...wat i cant understand is that b4 tat my IE no problem, but suddenly turned out to be lik tis and i did not change any setting...could it be the mozilla crash with my IE ???

A picture of both LAN settings of Firefox and IE7 would be helpful. Well, just to be sure before we move on to something else.

Btw, is your company using proxy? Or have you installed a new firewall on your PC?

I had a somewhat similar problem not too long ago. Ads and certain scripts and pictures would appear in Firefox but not IE6. At the end of the day, I discovered that it was my router acting up. Rebooted it and it went back to normal.

This may not be a solution for you, but it's worth looking into.
