I thought it would be a good tool to test compatibility issues, but all the hardware drivers are emulated, including sound, video, and even BIOS. So you can only test software compatibility. But it's very stable and usable, provided that you have enough system resources to handle 2 OS at the same time. |

But I prefer to use VMWare now which is more comprehensive in terms of virtualization capabilities. Yup, you can only test software compatibility with the OS and it's fun to use it to play around with other OSes. I'm now using VMWare to virtualise a development environment so that it's portable. This allows me to do my development work anywhere and everywhere. |
