Yup, yup and yup. Just get 4GB. As long as it runs fine, just imagine the 1GB that disappeared is doing 'something' in the background la.

I thought I read somewhere that 4GB on 32bit is possible with a PAE(physical address extension) hack? Google reviews alot of information on this

it easier to just use 64bit version of the OS. I'm using it and I don't see any drivers and software issue.

just buy 4gb since so cheap now..dun care if 32bit utilise or not

That's because you are using all the latest software. I'm sure there are some software that wouldn't work properly. Looking at the compatibility list, I think I will still stick to 32bit.

load 64-bit vista, install vbox, install 32-bit xp, anhd you are good to go.
