SpywareBlaster 4.0 Released

A simple and quite effective spyware-preventing software. Basically, it adds some entries to your registry that restricts certain websites to be loaded on your browser. It's been quite long since Javacool has released an update for this software, nearly a whole year, but finally it's here. The GUI has been greatly improved and now it fits Vista's quite well. Do update or consider using this software for an extra layer of protection

SpywareBlaster is pretty much the same as the Immunize feature in Spybot S&D IIRC

Yep, it's totally free. The auto-update feature is a paid feature though, for 10$. But you can always manually update like most people

I've tried spyware terminator & Ad Aware2007...
Anyway,thanx 4 the info...i'll try this one

Note that SpywareBlaster isn't an on demand scanner or real-time scanner

Not bad...

i like the 'SpywareBlaster System Snapshot' function.
It creates an "image" of various browser and system settings. If the computer ever become infected with spyware, running System Snapshot could help remove many, if not all, components of the infection. System Snapshot can also reverse the changes of many browser hijackers.
