Default [Poll] Compression Comparison Guide - What Files Do You Compress?

Hi guys!

I've been thinking of updating the Compression Comparison Guide for some time now.

It is a really difficult task, as the testing will not only take weeks and God, the data analysis after that... ... but also because I think the current data sets are outdated.

So, I would like to enlist your help in gathering information on what datasets I should use for the next revision. Please tell me what kinds of files you usually compress.

If it's not too much trouble, please spread word about this poll so we can gather as much information as we can before I start on gathering the files.. and starting the very, very long tests. Thanks!

BTW, before I open up the poll, please let me know if the poll options are enough. If I'm missing any file format, please let me know now.

Thanks!

Right now, I'm lumping that all under videos because HD actually refers to the resolution and not necessarily the compression codec used.

Would it be better to separate them?

Separated content is definitely better.

Mix content is never a good idea because what I consider to be a good mix will not be a good mix for you or someone else. You know what I mean?

Yeah people hardly compress with mixed contents and it's pointless because there's too many variables.
