IE 7 Search Bar Not Working

Hi guys,

I'm having some problems with the search bar that's embedded into IE7. I'm running Vista Premium SP1

Basically, the search bar isn't working. It's just a blank space and the search button isn't even there anymore lol

Tried reseting Internet Explorer settings under advanced tab?

Yeah, reinstalling will be my last resort lol

Firefox? Naw, I got Maxthon already

I'm just wondering how in the world did my IE7 search bar stop working lol

i hate search/tool bar, never use them before since the day some software i installed secretly installed the tool bar for me. Since then i always unclick the option during installation and if the program force me to install it, i simply would quit installing that program.

I tried resetting the Advanced settings today. No go >_<

This search bar is quite handy though. It's not like one of those pesky "ad-ware" toolbars that float around the internet. This one is a simple text box with a search feature. Very handy instead of entering "google.ca" and then the search query

Actually, I'm too pansy to try and reinstalling it. I don't know, touching something as core as IE to Windows is kinda creepy, and I don't feel like running into some problems. I'm sure that it will fix the problem though...
