Reputation: 269 Rep Power: 7 | Maybe someone will find this test file useful, but eicar maintains a test file so you can check that a anti virus program is working correctly. Reputation: 4630 Rep Power: 81 | My system is does not have any anti-spyware. There's no need for one unless you love installing things you are not sure of, especially from the web browser. Personally, I never needed one. And once in a while I will install and run a scan, never detected any other than some cookies. As for anti-virus, I'm using Symantec. Not the best, but it works well for me, detecting virus emails. |
