Default ASUS ExpressGate?
I was wondering if there was a similar instant OS available to the general mass that was like ExpressGate included on some ASUS motherboards? It's based on a Linux variant so there must be one out there freely available, but I couldn't find infos about it.

Indeed, ExpressGate uses a lightweight version of Splashtop to make it boot as fast as possible.

... which is quite handy I find. Most mornings I just want to check if one of classes were cancelled or not and a quick bootup is welcomed

hmm,has anyone tried it yet? feel like testing it since sometimes pc might phail due to hardware changes
