Reputation: 116 ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 4 | Anyone familiar with Excel Macro/VBA here I need some help to remove the embeded Macro/VBA code inside a excel file. My client sent me a file with Macro/VBA code built-in. My excel just crash everytime i tried to open the file. Because a windows will pop-up for prompt me wheter to run the macros or not. Whether I choose "enable/disable" the Excel also will crash. Is there any method to remove the Macros without open the Excel? ![]()

I manage to open the file using other computer installed with excel 2003. Then to remove the Macros inside. However, the same problem happen when i bring the file back to my office using the Excel2000.

Then the new file can be open in my office stupid old computer. Just wonder what is the root causes of this problem. Is it due to the language pack installed?

But still cannot open in my office's excel2000. I have to manually copy the content of every sheet into a new file created in Excel 2003 then can be use.
