Does Winrar uses all the cores when extracting files/packaging files?

If it doesn't, can any other software do it?

AFAIK, WinRAR supports multi-core processing.

It used all my four cores when I was trying to compress a 2GB file.

Is it the same with multithreading?
as I can see that on Setting - General, on "system" part.

Newer versions of WinRAR supports multithreading.

Yeah, it's the same thing. Actually, multi-threaded is a better description than saying that it's multi-core optimized.

it will fully utilize two cores, but i noticed on 4 core system, each of the cores was utilized at maybe 75%
