LOL, what's the problem of installing SP2? It's just a double click, 30mins max and a few restart?

My system feels a lot faster now. But that's after I reformatted my system... hmm... antivirus-less.

I don't like Vista. It is slowly. XP runs smoothly.

Let me share a LOL experience.

Few weeks ago, I helped my aunt to buy a laptop. Came without OS, so after installing everything, all the apps, drivers, etc

Last to install is Service Pack 2, I did not put in the battery and the laptop was running purely on AC as I wanted to give it a full charge the next day.

While installing SP2, and when the SP2 update was about to finish, I'm like "ah, okay, time to off the plug and let the battery finish the installation"

Once I off the power, POOF, the laptop went black, I'm like SHIAT, I was running on AC.

On back the laptop, and damn the OS was corrupted

LOL!!! You should have waited until SP2 installed completely because the process continues after the reboot. You can always leave the notebook running after that, until the battery alarm sounds at 10%.
