I then got it down to below 10 k, but now I need to save as a jpg or gif, to attach. The program I used to capture is called printkey. Its an old shareware free program I have had for years. You open it, which adds it to the bottom bar. Then bring up you pic in the forefront. hit alt/printscreen and it comes up with options i.e save as bmp etc. Then I just shrunk it down. Now I just need to convert. I'll send the printkey program to Adrian to pass around. It works on Win95/98/2k

What I want to do first is convert the still image I captured from the .asf file to bmp to gif or jpeg (which ever is better and smaller). Then I will have a small fixed avatar. My second desire is to take (capture) a small part of the moving .asf file ( about 10 to 15 slides, and convert them to make a small avatar that moves. That is what I DON.t know how to do yet. Its just a small set of images of the dancing baby with a hat on and scrugging its sholders, but quite cool looking. Fits me to a tee. Just hope I can figure out how to capture that section of slides, and loop them AND be small enought to fit on forums. ![]()

Reputation: 0 ![]() Rep Power: 0 | Well, here it is! I had to make it small to fit the 10k limit, and I saved it as a .png file. Maybe a .jpeg would be better. I don't know. Iv'e givin up on the moving part. It would be to large. Wda ya think? ![]()

Reputation: 0 ![]() Rep Power: 0 | Ya, me to, but I was lucky to squeez it down to fit the limits as is. I tried 16bit color, but it washed out. I may still try to make it move and scrugg the sholders, like I originally wanted. Who knows, I might get lucky. Anyone want to have me send the original moving file and see if they can capture the part where he scruggs his sholders? Its just before the end of the run. Its a .asf file movie. I would be super greatful!! I may even pay a little!!
