For creating avatars I recommend to use VidGIF.Really good proggy that converts avi to animated GIF.

can we hv a bigger limit of avatar size? mayb 20kb?

Yeah, sure, but let's try to keep the size low so that the page loads faster.

It's one thing for one person to use a 20KB avatar. Imagine if everyone has a 20KB avatar. This page would have at least 400KB of avatars to load!

Seems like many wants it, might as well do it.
