Oatmeal in the lunch?

    Hey, is it any good if I take oatmeal and banana on the lunch time? I read it that it has low GI (Glycemic Index) so that I won't be groggy later that day.:think: :whistle:

    Why not? The banana will give you a quick burst of energy while the oatmeal will give you a steady flow through the day plus plenty of fibre. :thumb:

    Hmm that'll be good. Maybe I'll eat some more oatmeal on the lunch before I work-out in the evening. I don't like to feel too sleepy afterwards. :whistle:

    But the Milo mixed inside has a lot of processed sugar. Since I'm mildly lactose-intolerant I may try other combinations with the oatmeal.

    Why not take it with low-fat milk? You can blend your banana in the milk and add your oatmeal to it.
