graphic distortion

    i play assassins creed revelations with a new graphic card i just bought.
    NVIDIA Geforce GTX 650 2Gb 128bit

    with my system: Windows XP professional (32bit)
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @2.93GHz (2 CPUs)
    RAM: 4 giga (read only 3 giga becos windows xp 32 bit)

    My computer experiencing graphic distortion while playing Assassins Creed Brotherhood, Revelations and Dota2.

    it just happen randomly. then when i go alt-tabing then it return to normal. then w8 couples of minutes then i have graphic distortion again.

    i got stress. please help.
    any help is much appreciated.

    the question is "WHY"
    becos of my windows xp 32 bit?
    and this not about my CPU overheating or anything. my cpu is fine.

    Have you already updated to the latest graphics card drivers?

    I would definitely think of updating the graphics driver...

    yes. already. no updates available. my version is NVIDIA GTX 650 version 306.81.

    is my windows xp 32 bit is responsible for this problem?

    if i upgrade to windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. will it be same?

    Have you checked the temperature of the graphics card?

    I believe the card could be faulty.

    how to check the temperature of the graphics card?
    my nvidia gtx650 is corrupted then?

    No, that's not very likely. But just in case, did you update to Service Pack 3 yet?

    Any screenshot of the distortion?

    Also, check whether:

    1.) Graphics has been updated.

    2.) PSU is enough for the card.

    lastly, 3.) check whether the processor is overheating. Anything goes when the processor doesn't work properly too.

    Just my humble opinion.:)

    problem solved :))
    my graphic card is corrupt. i exchange and complain and now its fixed.

    thx for the concern and for all given solution.
