This is the toughest repair I've done yet. Almost the entire phone needs to be disassembled, other than the LCD itself. The root cause of the blank LCD screen problem is... the flex cable! So it's a cheap repair. I paid for RM60 including new ultra tiny torx screwdrivers.
Wow! That is an awesome repair! The "smallest" job I've done is fix the remote control for my Hyundai Sonata. LOL! Up next - trying to repair my parents' Sony camera....
It's actually quite fun to repair phones. Changed an iPhone 3G battery before. Have to take everything out then put everything back in.
I don't really enjoy repairing it though. I just don't think it is worth spending that kind of money when it is cheaper and better to do it on my own.
