    Hey there guys,

Thinking of getting a PS3 and connect this to the 23" HDMI LED monitor I will be getting.

Would that affect the picture or color quality, or PS3s must be played on a bigger screen?

as long as the monitor support 1080 i dun see a problem with it, thought i have been using 24 inch.

Yeah, I don't see any problem using an LED monitor as long as it supports HDMI.

I heard from a local vendor/distributor that sells PS3 warned me against buying a small (small being 32" and less) LED/LCD screen due to incorrect resolutions, but when I have seen 1080p on those LED screen boxes, they might be incorrect.

Luckily my parents might be buying a 40" LED TV so I may be using that TV instead.

    Uneducated vendor...

Almost any 1080p monitors will work fine, especially with HDMI. But it is usually fine with HDMI to DVI cable as well, unless it is a really old monitor without HDCP support.

Yeah, it's not the screen size that matters but the screen resolution.
