Default Mobility Radeon 9700 Mod to FireGL?

I have been reading the forums on modding a Radeon card into a Fire GL. Will this work for a Mobility Radeon 9700?

Also, the FreefireGL drivers are posted on a Russian website. Is there a way to access the drivers on an English site? I am new to this.
Thanks.

If it's possible, It will be modded the FireGL T2 I think, because the Mobility Radeon 9700 is basically a Radeon 9600. Er.....Is that right? I can't remember, correct me if i'm wrong.

I don't know any of the FreeFireGL's author Why don't you just give it a try? It won't damage your card anyway.

Default mobility radeon 9600 to fire GL T2

when i try to back up the current bios on a actual FIRE GL T2 system, it writes just a 2k file which is blank.

And also flashrom -l comes back with unknown flash.

I have seen ati winflash which upgrade dell notebook video bios, is it possible to use it to make a backup

found at http://ftp.us.dell.com/video/R75495.EXE
