Default 9550 to firegl problem no tv out and no back

hi
i ve managed to mod softwarely a saphire 9550 radeon to firegl t2 with the firegl drivers you provided everything was working flowlessly untill the owner of the card wanted to watch his movies on the tv.
i went to the ati menu and tried to activate the tv out but the tv swich was not active . after reading for sometime the forums i understand that the firegl t2 had no tv out so that,s why it was not working , so the guy told me he don't need the extra firegl per now he wanted to watch movies on tv so i decided and uninstal the ati driver and install the original driver. BUT for a strange reason the driver is not working now the tv out is working even in dos but in windows the driver can't start and is swiching to vga safemode using a windows vga driver. i tried installing other ati drivers but the problem persist windows was saing the device can't start.
i downloaded an ati driver removal tool but after instaling the driver again the problen was still standing.
then i decided to try again the firegl driver, cause the monitor was at 60herz and it was terrible, and it worked with no problem but ofcourse there was no tv out.
so my request is if you can give an advice even how to uninstall the ati driver so i can install the original driver and tv out to work
or how can i enable the tvout in the firegl current driver
thanks in advance
it is winxp system

I suspect the driver files are not being cleaned properly.

But since you have tried all ways of removing the drivers but failed, you have to consider reinstalling Windows XP before installing the un-modded drive for your Radeon 9550.

the bad thing is that it is not mine and i suspect that i have to format the disk and make a new installation cause a reinstalling might not solve the problem.
is there a way to enable the tvout in the firegl driver
or do you know different ati driver removal way?

Hmm.. You could be right. You may need a clean installation of Windows XP.

Well, you could try the manual uninstallation method. Just uninstall the ATI driver and revert the card to the default SVGA driver. Then manually search out for all ATI driver files and delete them.

Then reboot and install a new ATI driver.
