Graphic card -> NFSMW/SIMS2

Alrighty my computer specs are p4 2.8ghz 512 RAM , and GeForce 4 Ti (128mb). it appears that its a little laggy when i play the sims 2 and nfsmw lately , is it my graphic card or im just significantly running low on RAM ? if so which kind of graphic card must i get to get a better performance or how much more RAM will i need before i can end this gaming misery

Sims 2 requires a lot of RAM when you are playing with a big family .. i havent tested NFS MW ..

LOL! You will never end your gaming misery when Nvidia and ATI charges so high for their graphics card.

yeah true... how sad , good graphic cards are even more expensive than a p4 processor even... ahaha

either way extreme uber fast graphics cards and pentium 4's arent exactly the most economical solutions

yeah but just so i know , how much RAM must i have so that i dont have to go through all those jerky play in The Sims 2.... 1024? 768? anyone knows?

i cant remember how much difference it made with 512mb & 1.5gb or ram .. but i do know it loces to suck up a lot of RAM .. the last time i played i think it can take up to 1gb or RAM ..

but it required a lot of processor power too

hmm.....how much does a 512 RAM costs now and how can i check wad kind of brand my RAM is (ex.kingston, but i forgotten mine already) coz im afraid that if i just go out and blindly buy one off the store it would be incompatible to my current RAM that im using now or my motherboard

I would recommend you to upgrade your RAM to AT LEAST 1GB. And regarding the Video Card, go and buy AT LEAST a nice 6600GT, which is in my opinion, the minimum Video Card for a gamer nowadays!!!
