I thought that all dedicated cards were better than integrated graphics, however, it seems I misunderstood. My desktop has a Pentium4 3gig processor and one gig of RAM, with the Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset. Would installing a Radeon 9550 (256mb DDR) be redundant? And yes, I play a lot of 3D games, but I don't watch many videos. Thanks in advance. |

I've even heard people saying with a top-of-the-line processor, you don't need a standalone card to play games like F.E.A.R. or Doom3.
