Default Help picking PCI-E Graphics Card

Hey Guys,

I currently have a ATI 9800pro (128) but i have upgraded my desktop....currently it doesnt have any AGP slots so i must upgrade my card...

Ive been looking at 6800gs and/or 7600gt

Is it wrong for me to assume that the 7600gt is better then the 6800 based on the newer series model?

Im looking to get a good card for about 200-220$US

Anyone have suggestions on which one is better...if not a totally different card?

Also..... Would it be better to buy two cards for 250US and have them run SLI....or wiser to buy 1 card for 250US? Hows the performance differences?

1 high-end card is generally more worthwhile than 2 for the same price.
I've got a 6800GS and it's great but for around the same price the 7600GT is slightly better.
