Need advice on card upgrade

I've got an older setup:

Mobile AMDXP processor OC'd to 1.4ghz
1G system memory
9800pro OC'd to 9800XT (128mb)

Is there a card out there that would work w/ my old AGP slot or should I just invest in a new MB? I'd like to play some of the newer games for the next year or so.

How much are you wiling to spend?

In any case, your Mobile Athlon XP is kinda underpowered. Even if you invest on a much better graphics card it will still be CPU limited in many cases. Why don't you overclock it more?

The mobiles are known to hit 2.5GHz without much effort

With CPU prices being slashed at the end of July, it would make more sense for you to spend a little more ($250) for a whole new motherboard and CPU to go with a PCI-E video card.

yeah man. u need a system upgrade. ur 9800 pro modded to xt its still a good card to handle some of the high requirement games. but ur cpu/motherboard aint gonna cut it. so i suggest u wait a couple weeks early august and u can get a nice priced cut amd system or maybe a lower end conroe.
