Gainward GeForce 6800GS ULTRA/2300PCX XP 256MB how good ???

i have just decided to get a pci-e mobo as my agp one went pop so now would be a good time to do it.

the current agp card i have is a 6600gt and was wondering how this card compares as i cant find any specs on it

PCI-E? Get 7600GT. Easily one of my favourite cards.

The 7600GT is the bare minimun in my view; get a 7600GT.

ive just been looking at the 7600gt and they are a little bit too rich for my budget (baby on the way) .the cheapest is gonna cost about £150 and i only have about £120 max.

OK if you are a gamer don't expect much with a card that costs that much.

ive been reading about the 6800gs and from wot i read u are talking complete bollocks

yea its not as fast as as the 7 series cards but its still a great performer especially for someone with a crt monitor like me

Honestly, I think the 6800 series are a bit lacking now, it probably won't last long. (Yes, I'm using 6800GT)

well i eventually bought the gecube x850xt for £123 and was very supprised when i opened the box to find a x850xt platinum edtion (the sticker says x850xt pe 256mb) which is a nice suprise and makes this card a bargain. yes i know it has not got sm3.0 but it will go like stink for £123
