Default Basic two-monitor question.

Hi. Sorry to ask what's probably a ridiculously stupid question, but I'm very new to all this stuff, and haven't been able to find a definitive answer anywhere (because the question is so stupid that everyone in the world knows the answer except me?)

Anyway, my grapics card is a Gainward Bliss 68000GS PCX 512Mb.

On the back, it has one DVI socket, and one VGA socket.

My question is, can I plug in two VGA monitors (using an adaptor for the DVI socket, of course) and get a two monitor setup? Or is it for strictly either/or VGA/DVI (ie, only one monitor)

And most importantly, if I TRY plugging in two, am I going to do any damage to my PC?!!

Thanks.

nope. you are good to go. dual monitor is extremely FUN!

plug both in, install ULTRAMON (it's a 3rd party multi monitor management application) and enjoy!
