Not that I know of, unfortunately.

heya...need help for my webcam...i guess here is appropriate, its video after all

the problem is that i dun have enough USB bandwith. my modem takes up 33% n reserves at 10%. the thing is my webcam takes up 60% thus it wont work unless i disconnect my modem which beats the purpose of having a webcam.

how do i solve this? will buying a PCI USB help? i have 8 ports...eventhough i dosconnect all except for modem n webcam it still wont work....thanks.!

Surely your motherboard supports more than one USB hub. Most come with a separate bracket that you can attach to a USB header. Install it.

Then plug your webcam to it. As long as they both run on separate USB hubs, you will not face this bandwidth problem.

What exactly did you do?

Yeah, a PCI USB card should do the trick but I think you can save your money. Most motherboards generally come with more than 1 USB hub.

tried commecting in different ways...some to the bracket some to mobo; some to both the mobo; some to both the bracket; one even disconnecting the bracket to cancel the reserve...nothing seems to work...

coz out of 10 ports... 4 are onthe mobo... the other 6 uses the bracket...i only connect 1 bracket which equals to 2 USB ports...

Wait.. explain EXACTLY what you did.

How many USB devices are you using? And how are you connecting them?

Whenever you connect, check the device properties of the USB hubs to see what the bandwidth usage is.

Umm.. You are not being specific or clear....

Let's try this again... From what I gather, your motherboard has four USB ports and six USB headers (but only 1 bracket to connect to two of them).

1. How many USB devices do you have?

2. What are your USB devices?

3. How are you connecting your USB devices RIGHT NOW? For example -> Razer Diamondback mouse to motherboard USB port, Aztech modem to bracket, etc.

4. What's the bandwidth usage of your USB hubs? Can you take a screenshot of the Device Manager to show us?
