Default Video connectivity

my laptop got only VGA out. any port converters from VGA to S-video? i wanna watch things on tv

i raised that question a few times in another forum, all my replies are: they use diff signals, cannot be converted, thus no such converter exist..

but i saw one in a photo somebody posted, nobody knows where to get it... =S

well, i definitely came across one of those expensive converter-splitter-wadeva-box that does wad u need..

but den again, u can buy a new 19" LCD with that price...

I have a RM150 converter which does S-Video. But the quality is not really good.

That's true. you can't wire-ly convert the connectors. But, as chai mentioned, there is such converters.. it has some electronic components that does whatever signal mixing, thingamagic, etc.. But.. quality wise, it really depends the chip/pcb/whatever...

Best solution, go buy a LCD TV

i guess so..
the s-video is very low res anyway..

is there a RCA to VGA converter? my office wanna install CCTV, the security recorder only have RF & RCA out. LCD TV is mre costier and 15" size models are limited. is there such an adaptor?

aiseh.....wasted... coz i wanna watch on my 29inch screen....looks like have to borrow some1 laptop to watch ...sad case....
