Video Out

hello, not sure where to post this

anyway, next month i'll be involved in Malaysian Night in my university.

I'm wondering if there is anyway to display the video out without displaying my desktop. Lets say i want videos & presentation to appear on video out but my desktop appears on the laptop screen.

possible ? i havent try this method coz i do not have a spare monitor

I thought notebooks are now capable of dual monitor setup?

yea,but i'm wondering if i can fullscreen the 2nd monitor on video or presentation while still see my desktop on he 1st monitor ?

I've just tested it on Latitude D410. It should work on yours. Use extended mode to split 2 screens. But you can only display video on 1 screen. You can't span with without additional tools.

Ask Max for more details if you need to span.

Yup... it can be done.. just split it. My colleagues and managers always do that. But I'm using the monitors most of the time for testing. Sigh...

Just play around with your monitor display properties or utility if you have one.

Use extended desktop mode, full screen the video on your 2nd monitor and you are done

It doesn't full screen across both monitors because extended desktop mode is being treated as two monitors.
