Default Broken voltage regulator in asus 8600gt

Hi,

My graphic card is broken and getting to warm of missing voltage regulator transistor i think. I included a picture and looking badly for a 70T03GH / 706336. Is there a chance to find it , or a compatible one ?

Thanks

Seems to be a silicon standard corp chip. If you want just one unit, i'm sure you can email them or their distributors for a few free samples since it's common practice in the industry to do so.

If you want a comparable replacement, here's something i found while digging around in International Rectifier's site.http://www.irf.com/product-info/data.../irlr8103v.pdf

You can request a sample or buy a single unit from Mouser.com or Digikey. Hope it helps.

Empire23 thank you for your quick reply. I'm checking http://www.siliconstandard.com but im afraid that i dont now the terminology very well. I have checked the voltage regulators but cant find the identical one. Is there a identical replacement avaible for this chip ? Or with which model number should we searching for ?

Only search by the first set of numbers, the second set is the date and batch stamp so it doesn't really matter. Just use the first number and you should get a result. And it's not a voltage regulator, Linear Voltage regulators put out too little output to be on a graphics card, the part should be under N type MOSFET.

Empire23 thank you for your fantastic support. Got the exact product. I have send a request to dist. for free example. If i cant get it with this way ill buy a mosfet from http://www.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/9677.pdf STmicroelectronics. This is the closest one that i found in mouser.com. Only it's Total dissipation is a bit more.
