Default What graphics card more silent?

I looking for silent graphics card?
Suggest me. (ATI 3850, Nvidia 8600GTS, 8800GS etc.)

not quite sure which one but if you want total silence, then go for those with passive cooling. But those are usually lower end card so you will have to sacrifice some performance in order to achieve that.

Or maybe you can go for water cooling

Its too hard to say which video is the most slient since different fans could be used on each card and the fan duty cycle could be different for each card.

Passive cooling is good. But card must have fan.
Cards whith passive cooling overheats

3850 is probably the best among the 3. If it's fanless, then it's technically silent. But 3850 should be the coolest too.

you can also consider intergrated graphic card, those should be silent as well

I say grab any, and get yourself an aftermarket cooler such as an Arctic Cooling Accelero S1. Or just pick any that is marketed with a passive cooling heatsink
