I was removing the shim, then suddenly the pocket knife slipped I was probably using too much force

ok, its been a while so here it is



as you can see i'm still working out some kinks in my soldering skillz, also note the extra solder on the ends, they should definitely not fall off again.

Just make shure if ur doing this to make sure that u have a very fine tip on your soldering iron, also be careful not to apply to much heat as it will lift the contact pad under it.

and yes it works, like nothing ever happened.

Nasty on the soldering I can solder SMD with a standard pencil but been soldering since the 80's .. as long as it works

It also happens on my card ( I think ) because when i put the video card while the RAM locks are open or unlock. But i dont if it really happen. So what i did is just to solder the ends. You can see it on the Picture. But still it works

hmmm that is opposite side of pcb and pins from capacitor is on that side
