Obviously, you will need to use the new ForceWare 174 driver, which was what I tried to do here - Tech ARP - ED#85 : Getting NVIDIA ForceWare 174 To Work With GeForce 8 Cards

But I think they are intentionally locking out those features for GeForce 8800 GT and GTS 512MB for now. Maybe they will enable the features in the future.
I've been using the 174.21 beta driver for quite some time on my 88GT, downloaded from guru3d.com, didn't need any modification whatsoever.

I dunno abt DX10, but i keep having games like Crysis & GoW running into errors. Even after i revert everything to stock clocks! Aft reading ur review on the performance, think i better revert back to the 169s.

It doesn't work for 8800GTS, not 8800GT.

Sorry, my mistake, ignore the comments.

It didn't need any modification because it had already been modified by Guru3D.

no wonder... The driver is confirmed buggy.

eg. Crysis: barrels would float on air, ghostly semi-transparent boxes hanging around, oil from barrels "standing" in the air

Gears of War: those holes will be screwed up

nvm, getting outta topic alreadi =P
