Agree with Gen we need the driver version used I think that is your issue and the Omega ATI drivers he posted the link for may work better for you.

Thats a nice card with good cooling if your running it at stock settings I can't see the artifacts being hardware related .. but ya never know

Sorry, if it took a while, had to go to work. The question about the drivers, it's kinda like i'm stuck. I uninstalled the software and drivers, well i thick i did. Went through the usual proceedure, made sure nothing ATI remained in the system. I was able to do those except when i checked Add/remove programs there were parts of the software that showed, but wasn't given any option to uninstall. The files were like:
Catalyst Control Center Graphics Full Existing
Catalyst Control Center Graphics Full New
Catalyst Control Center Graphics Light
Catalyst Control Center Localization Forms of tonque
say about 21 of them. So i decided to reinstall anyway knowing it wasn't going to work, and hoped like sort of speak It'll "overwrite it". So then i restarted, and CCC wouldn't execute. Went and tried BF2, Well at least it plays. One thing that i think about is how it appears w/ medium settings, but disappears w/ settings on low. I hope this may be of some. Also thanks for their time in helping w/ this.

Please give more details regarding the issue (if it appears in other games, driver version).
BF2142 has no signs, and neither does Crysis Demo. By the way, i'm not as familiar w/ certain terms, what does localized mean? i'd like to understand.

Always run a registry cleaner after uninstalling hardware drivers I always do after removing any software. Then install the new ones. A reg cleaner will removed remaining and invalid registry entries that the provided uninstall utility and MS's Add/Remove programs miss.

Essentially those programs you mentioned and cannot remove are not there but still in your registry.

Another note here looking at your system specs your CPU will bottleneck your card on higher settings. Hope this helps

Localized like if it appears only in a certain game but in others works just fine.
Seems like you have troubles only with one game!?
Well, maybe it's not the drivers, have you patched the game to the latest version?

Maybe "localized" wasn't the best use of term, regarding the problem.

Hey guys, no luck after i repatched the game, and i was also able to completely uninstall the drivers and software. it's unfortunate that i'm getting graphic corruption still in medium settings of the game. I wouldn't think i'd be able to keep the card, so i'm sending it back for a replacement. By the way, i purchased these items online and received the w/o the manufacturer's seal. Is that possible? And the other item when installed had a newer version of the BIOS and not the initial one from the manufacturer.

It's a little bit strange since the corruption appears only in one game! Have you experienced graphic corruption in other games?
