Yes I agree with Adrian then you will be assured it will work for you. The only other thing you could do is see if there are chipset updates on the Asus site for your M2N if you haven't.

Bios update might work =/.. Since PCIE 1.0 and 2.0 should work =/ If all those don't work, most likely you might need a new mobo ._.

mmm I have read that there are a HUGE amounts of problems with Asus Boards and Sapphire 3870.

I am not more secure to buy the M3A


I have the latest BIOS of M2N , but nothing.

Not sure it does list PCI Express 2.0 right on the description for the M3N mobo. The issues you read about do they all use NForce chipsets ?
