Looks like the 4870 is going to be an interesting card, I'm sure the price will be significantly less than GT280, I hope the power consumption too! |

Reputation: 2946 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 43 | the 4800 is impressive. single slot, single power connector, but like the 3850 it's hot! still, i think the GeForce 9800GTX might be the eventual winner due to NV's work in developing the cuda framework and they are pushing it very hard. some very impressiev applications are in the work like x264 encoding app. badaboom etc. alot of interesting apps for the G92 family of card are coming up ( including geforce 8800 gt/gts512)
