Default PhysX On RADEON 38xx

I don't know if NGOhq is bullshitting but it looks they found an way to put Physx drivers on 3xxx series...

Here the link

If that's appears to be true it's would be kick ass

Another way to bluff the system

Update : He claims it will only works on the 38xx series for now because because AMD thinks NGOHQ.com is not worthy enough to borrow review samples.

-The mod will work with VISTA and XP (x32-x64)

Ummm...

...so how exactly would that work if ATI hadn't implemented the PhysX API/command set on their chippery?

Sure...but I'm presuming that there are hardware-specific calls involved there that, on an ATI board, have no hardware to call on. Especially granted that I'm sure ATI hasn't tried any CUDA stuff or anything yet...

Seems vaguely like saying "oh, I got Alpha code to run on an ARM processor"

...I guess I assumed that they would have adapted the Physx commands to their hardware though - would they have been daft enough to make it so generic it could run on anybody's card? Try it on a Kyro II.
