Default A 3-Slot Cooler for the Palit 4870X2?

Yowzers!

Palit Self-Designed 4870X2 Card - Revolution 700 Deluxe - VR-Zone.com: News and Reviews

Quote:
Palit innovative dual fan cooling system for the Revolution 700 Deluxe comes with two PWM fans and four heat-pipes to provide high performance and trustworthy cooling solution. Conceived for two GPUs, the two PWM fans are able to provide sufficient air flow to cool two GPUs on the graphics quietly. The PWM fan created for both fans can adjust the fan speed depending on the GPU’s temperature; allowing the Revolution 700 Deluxe to run quietly.

Nice!

I used to modify CPU coolers to fit them on my GPUs and they took out even more space than this 3 slot cooler

Big is good. Better cooling, maybe better overclocking.

It won't be possible on a lot of mainboards, but I don't think you will need a 2nd 4870 X2 anyway and the scaling is crap.

Oh well, I guess people with enough money to buy two of these won't have a problem with getting a motherboard with the space for this either
