Default Monitor Blank

PC is a HP Pavilion A62 n as best I can remember.
I installed a AGP graphcis card a few years ago.
So when I did that, I also needed bigger power supply and a new case to fit it in.
I recently had to wipe it clean to factory settings, then downloaded XP updates and the latest driver for the video card.
Upon REBOOT, the monitor is blank.
I have tried another monitor, does'nt work.
I no longer have the old graphics card and there is no onboard video.
How can I make any adjustments blindly?
Have also tried to blindly start and hit F1 followed by F5 and every other conceivable blind commands.
I think it should work if I could select Last Known Good Configuration...
But how can you do that looking at a dead screen?

How about that one, anybody else have a issue like that.
I suppose someone would suggest to get a cheap AGP card....??
What do you think my next step would be.
or if someone with an older model Pavilion such as mine would be kind enough to tell which keys to press at start up to get to Last Know Good Configuration or even the steps to fully recondition again either was is good with me, i can't do any worse with my giant paper weight...
Thanks in advance.....

remove the graphic card, and plug it in again.
maybe something came loose.

check & make sure all cables are connected properly too.

If you can't see anything, not even the BIOS screen, resetting to Last Known Good configuration is not going to help at all.

Hmm.. Does the screen go blank all the time or only when Windows starts up?

If it only goes blank when Windows XP starts up, you can try pressing F8 after powering up. Just keep hammering F8 until the boot options come up. Then you can select Safe Mode to load Windows without the video driver.
