However, there's not much value in SLI-ing low or middle range cards. It's cheaper and better to get a single high-end card. SLI is only useful if the single high-end card isn't fast enough.

Reputation: 539 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 19 | so far the only card that I've ever felt tempted to SLI is the 9600GT. specifically now, the 9600GT lowpower lowprofile. i think if one has SLI board, then SLI could be considered but must consider the TDP. for example, a GTX295 would be having about 290w TDP but to SLI GTX275 would take nearly 400w and SLI GTX260 takes around 360w. |
