Graphics Spec Question - Good Enough to Game?

Sorry to show my Graphics Card ignorance but, before I purchase a PC wargame for my son, I need some advice from you experts on here ….

The mimimum Graphics requirement for this game is: Geforce 8600 or Radeon HD2600 256mb

His laptop spec states ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570. ATI Radeon HD 4200.

Simple question? Will the game run on the laptop?

No, I don't think it will run very well. The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 is roughly half as fast as the GeForce 8600 GT, and do note that the GeForce 8600 GT is the minimum requirement.

Frankly speaking, when they specify the GeForce 8600 as the minimum, they really mean you need something like the GeForce 8800 for proper gaming.
