I have 1500k = 1.5mbit = about 160KB/sec 3mbit DSL is just starting to come out here and cable varies depending where you are since it's a shared system. It's usually a lot faster than DSL though, but the upload sucks and they get mad if you use your upload bandwidth a ton.
